Inclusive, Judgment-Free Dental Care in Edmonton

Everyone deserves to feel respected here

At Norwood Dental, that’s built into how we work, not something you have to ask for or explain. As an inclusive dentist in Edmonton, we’ve built that into the visit itself, not into a policy binder no one reads.

What inclusion looks like at Norwood Dental

We ask your pronouns from your first contact with us, and we use them, which is part of why patients look for us as an LGBTQ+ friendly dentist in Edmonton specifically. If you’d like a quiet start to your appointment, tell us once, and it’s remembered for every visit after.

Fidgets are also available if your hands need something to do during your appointment. Sensory needs, whether it’s the sound, the lights, or anything else, are something you can flag ahead of time, and we’ll plan around it, the way a sensory-friendly dentist in Edmonton should.

No Judgment

No Judgment, No Exceptions

You’ll never hear comments on how long it’s been since your last visit. We don’t hold assumptions about your identity, your relationships, or your choices. There’s no pressure, ever, about treatment decisions. You control the pace, and you control what we know and don’t need to ask about twice.

As a neurodivergent-friendly dental clinic, that also means no unexplained touch, no surprise sounds, and no expectation that you’ll push through discomfort quietly. If something needs to change mid-visit, let us know and it changes.

Design It Your Way

Design It Your Way

Our Design Your Experience form lets you set your preferences before you even sit down: pronouns, a quiet start, sensory needs, comfort menu choices. Fill it out once, and the team has it ready for every visit.

This isn’t a policy we point to. It’s how the team here actually works.
