In the Neighbourhood

On the corner of 95 Street and 118 Avenue

Our Alberta Avenue clinic sits in the heart of one of Edmonton’s most community-minded neighbourhoods, just steps from the Alberta Avenue Community League, The Carrot Coffeehouse, and the murals along 118.

This is where Norwood Dental Centre began in 2018. The clinic was built around what Amanda always wished dental care could feel like: unhurried, transparent about cost, and welcoming whether it’s been six months or six years.

Our Team

Meet Dr. William Chin and Amanda Chin

Dr. William Chin graduated from Case Western Reserve University with his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2012 and has been based in Alberta’s capital region for over a decade. He’s experienced in restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry, and he’s bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Amanda Chin, co-owner and general manager, never thought she’d end up running a dental practice. She’s an anxious dental patient herself and used to dread every appointment. That history is exactly why she’s so committed to making Norwood Dental Centre feel different: she built the experience she always needed.

"Me and my kids love going to Norwood."

They’ve always treated my kids with care. Getting on their level and making sure they are comfortable. The dental assistants and the doctor are great.
